About Gatorade batch codes
Gatorade is owned by PepsiCo and follows the same Julian production code format as the rest of the PepsiCo beverage portfolio: four-character YJJJ plus a single-letter plant identifier plus a single-digit line number. A 32-ounce bottle of Gatorade Lemon-Lime with a 6099A1 stamp on the base was filled on April 9, 2026 at plant A on line 1. Non-carbonated sports drinks have a practical quality window of approximately nine months from production, after which the citric-acid balance begins to shift slightly and the color can fade depending on the flavor — the window is similar to Pepsi's because both products share the same basic stability constraints (sugar, citric acid, natural flavors). Gatorade plants are located in Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, and several other U.S. cities; each carries its own plant letter.

This decoder is based on Gatorade's publicly documented code format. Manufacturers can change codes without notice — treat the result as an estimate and check any printed best-by date.
