What I work on
I build and maintain the calculators, clocks, converters, calendars, and explanatory articles on this site. My work includes implementing the date logic, checking edge cases, reviewing source material, and correcting pages when standards or public guidance change.
Date and time calculations can look simple while hiding difficult cases such as leap years, ISO week-year boundaries, daylight-saving transitions, ambiguous local times, and shortened production codes. The site’s methodology page explains how those cases are handled and where the tools have limitations.
Editorial standards
Technical explanations are checked against primary standards or authoritative public bodies where practical. Manufacturer-specific claims require first-party documentation; when no public specification is available, the page should say so instead of guessing.
If you find a calculation error or a source that should be updated, please send the affected URL and an example through the contact page.
